Windows Phone 7 Mango on new Acer W4

1GHz, 3.6-inch handset with Mango update out of the box

Despite its fairly standard specs this is the first phone as yet to have the major OS update out of the box

Acer has unveiled it's W4 handset which is the first handset as yet to have Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 Mango update out of the box.

The W4 is not a phone designed to break records however, boasting just a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 8GB storage and a 5MP snapper.

Of course what the main attraction will be is the inclusion of Windows Phone 7 Mango out of the box, the OS update which contains hundreds of minor and major tweaks to Microsoft's mobile operating system.
