Wii hard drive incoming?

Net tittle tattle has Ninty shaping up an external hard drive for their all-conquering gaming hub.

A Nintendo fanzine claims to have caught wind of gaming execs thrashing out details of an external hard drive for the Wii. Japanese 'zine GameLabo reckons plans are afoot to give memory hungry gamers the chance to snare as many VC games as they want.

It all seems rather tenuous, but considering most Wii lovers have already crammed their flash memories to the hilt, it isn't actually that far fetched.

Ninty must have loaded up their hub with USB ports for a reason and it's not like there's a lack of channel space either. Add it all up and it seems there could actually be something in these rumours. We'll keep you posted as soon as we hear any more titbits.
