Sponsored: Wembley gets a full digital upgrade courtesy of EE

4G internet, free WiFi and contactless payments around the stadium

Taking in a game at Wembley is always a special experience, but thanks to EE the most iconic stadium has been given a digital makeover.

The UK's number one network has partnered with the home of English football to develop it into the most connected stadium in the world. That means a superfast 4G connection around the stadium, free WiFi in certain areas, contactless Cash on Tap payment for drinks and snacks and a new interactive state-of-the-art LED light show in the famous Wembley arch.

Whether your trip to Wembley is for the FA Cup final or a music gig, the new Wembley App from EE is the best way to organise the experience. The app will send you exclusive content for event days, including weather and social feeds. There's also the option to plan out your journey to and from the stadium and get a peek at the view from your seat, all before you arrive.

Very soon you'll be able to use the app to be in a chance of winning upgraded seats and get a live stream of the Wembley Arch during light shows. And, because there's full 4G (or 3G) support from EE inside the stadium walls, it'll only take a second.

EE customers will experience a boost in 3G and 4G signal, there's also the chance to get access to some tickets before anyone else, as well as be in with a chance of winning a tour of Wembley stadium and event merchandise.

We've always looked on Wembley stadium as a historic venue but, thanks to EE, it will become the most connected arena in the world
