Credit crunch? Pah! This watch/phone hybrid will only set you back £2650.

In this era of gadget convergence it's only apt that one of the finer watchmakers on the planet would turn their hand to the mobile phone.

The recession-defying Tag Heuer Meridiist joins the Nokia Arte and the Vertu on lux-phone shelves, for people with way more coins than brain cells.

The Meridiist with it's croc-skinned back is a suitably priced £2650, but what do you get for your money?
