Video: RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 hands-on
The BlackBerry Curve goes on a Christmas crash diet
Hats off to the guys at RIM for their productivity - they've earned their Chrismas bonus this year. In the last few months we've seen four new BlackBerry handsets; messrs Bold, Storm, Pearl and now the new and improved Curve 8900
But during that hustle to get stuff out there, perhaps RIM have slipped up in offering their loyal consumers much of a choice. Aside from being the slimmest BlackBerry to date, at just 0.5-inches, there isn't really a lot that's new with the 8900 - formerly known as the Javelin.
The good news is, the screen is larger with GPS and Wi-Fi added into the mix. Sadly the combination of Wi-Fi and 3G internet remains elusive on a BlackBerry. The new Storm had 3G and no Wi-Fi. The new Pearl and Curve models, the opposite.
Check out our video report as we clasp our hands together and pray to the about-to-pop Virgin Mary for the perfect BlackBerry. Come on, RIM. We know you've got it in you!
