T3 jets off to New York for a hands-on sesh with Acer's new Blu-ray beast.

At the ass-crack of noon, on Thursday, we brought you grand news of the latest movie-spec laptop to rule them all. The Acer Aspire 8920G.

With a Blu-ray drive and native 16:9 ratio, 18.4-inch LCD screen busting out 1080p hi-def goodness, this heavy-duty multimedia monster is definitely one to watch in 2008.

Bulking up this impressive package is an illuminated touch-screen media control panel, five speakers and a mini-subwoofer with Dolby's new Home Theatre system also embedded.

T3 Magazine's Luke Peters and his trusty camcorder captured a sneak peak at the Aspire 8920G at the Big Apple launch just for your viewing pleasure so check it out.
