UK public find it hardest to stick to New Year fitness regime

Endomondo stats reveal that while enthusiastic we lack commitment

Endomondo has revealed some worrying statistics which show that while we're all for embracing this new tech-focused fitness regime we struggle after the first week

Fitness tracking app Endomondo stats taken from mid-December to the end of January have shown that while the UK public were some of the most enthusiastic to take up a New Year fitness regime the commitment quickly dropped after just two weeks.

Oddly the fitness app saw the number of UK workouts double in the week after Christmas however just a few days later a quarter had given up and were back on the red wine and cheese.

On the contrary Norway, Poland and the US were up at the top with users in those countries staying the most commited to working out after January with Norway seeing its figures double.

If you're struggling to find the motivation now that Christmas is over and 2013 is upon us then pay attention as T3 is giving away an iPad Mini as some motivation.

All you have to do to win is join the T3 Endomondo Fitness Challenge, pick a team and then start burning those calories.
