Sony's flagship racing title Gran Turismo 5 has added a flurry of new content with two new downloadable content packs hitting the PlayStation Network
Epic racing sim Gran Turismo 5 has added a host of new cars to its already impressive array of vehicles, with a set of new Gran Turismo 5 downloadable content packs and system updates hitting the Sony PlayStation Network.
Whilst the 2.03 game update introduces a selection of new theme colours and wallpapers to the ultra realistic racing simulator, two new GT5 downloadable content packs have seen new cars and tracks made available to users for the first time.
With a download price of €5.99 (£4.97) the Gran Turismo 5 Car Pack 3 DLC sees GT5 gamers provided with a selection of six new motors ranging from the Eco run-around to the garish hypercar.
Headed up by the Lamborghini Aventador those splashing out on the Car Pack 3 DLC will also be rewarded with access to the Jaguar XJR9, Aston Martin V12 Vantage 2011 and the VW 1200 1966. The Mini Countryman S 2011 and Nissan Leaf complete the six strong contingent of new vehicles.
Further enhancing the gameplay possibilities of GT5 the new Speed Test Pack features an oval test track allowing gamers to test out their latest modifications. The Speed Test Pack is available to download via the Sony PSN for €4.99 (£4.14).
