Toshiba stuns with the new TG01 touchscreen mobile

Toshiba's upping their mobile phone assault

Several weeks ahead of Mobile World Congress - the year's ultimate mobile phone extravaganza - Toshiba has unveiled the TG01 smartphone, a complete revival of their handset range.

Not particularly known for their mobile phones, that's sure to change once the TG01 hits the production line. It's sporting a 4.1-inch touchscreen, with WVGA resolution, measuring 9.9mm thick - in other words, thinner, with a better display than the iPhone.

HSDPA internet, plus HSUPA and Wi-Fi connectivity are standards we're now accustomed to, as well as GPS and DivX support.

The processor is a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon, and it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1. That might turn some readers off the TG01, however Uncle Toshiba has put some sparkly new interfaces on it, to make it less WM6, more Toshiba.

There will also be a neat new feature which will allow you to answer and hang up phone calls by shaking the phone. A microSD card slot will ensure it's a very multimedia-friendly device, so you'll be able to store hundreds of music tracks and videos on it.

I would really buy this mobile phone because it provides the largest touch screen and the fastest processor among all mobile phones. With a screen diagonal of 10.5 inches, it is recommended for those who want to go watch movies with your mobile phone and use multimedia applications. The TG01 has a huge screen size is 4.1 inches (10.4 cm). Although the device with dimensions of 130 x 70 x 9.9 millimeters, has a height of only 9.9 millimeters and a weight of 129 grams, relatively easy to disappear into the pocket.
