Toshiba puts big storage in a small package
Toshiba has worked its magic to hide 16GB worth of memory in a Flash pen drive.
The company said the Tardis-like device will be a limited edition item when it is first released.
Interested parties with big files to store will have to wait for the end of November, when the TransMemory 16GB pops up in shops around the world.
Toshiba hasn't releases a price for the super storer yet.
The pen drive will support a password-based security system that can be downloaded for free from Pocket Media, Toshiba's memory card information site.
Toshiba said the monster drive was just the beginning and it had plans to outdo the 16GB with larger capacity models.
