A new trailer has surfaced for the brand new Tomb Raider title from Square Enix. Titled simply Tomb Raider the game is a total reboot in an effort to put the competitors such as Uncharted back in their place.

The video is shot in stunning HD and while it features no gameplay it becomes quickly apparent that this will be a Lara Croft adventure like no other.

Going right back to the beginning, the story sees a 21-year old Lara Croft get caught in a storm and dumped unceremoniously on a island where she must survive and escape. The game will apparently follow a free-roaming style allowing the player to explore the island at will.
