Launching for Apple's iOS filled iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, a Tiny Wings 2 app release has seen an update outed for the original game
Having outed a teasing trailer to an upcoming new title earlier this week, iconic app developer Andreas Illiger has released the eagerly awaited Tiny Wings 2 with the new offering landing as an update for the original title as opposed to its own standalone game.
Adding to the enjoyment of the stubby winger bird-themed game, iPhone and iPad users will from today be able to make use of a new Flight School mode that sees gamers race their avian friend against three other tiny-winged birds.
On top of this, iPad owners can now also utilise a new multi-player, split-screen gaming mode dubbed Hill Party that allows two players to compete simultaneously on the same device. An iPad HD edition has also been launched for the first time.
The stunning teaser video released over the weekend suggested a more substantial Tiny Wings launch with the much loved Tiny Wings app being transformed into a handmade music box sheet, winding through to offer a familiar sight of the stubby winged avian protagonist fluttering through a selection of hills and valleys to a catchy tune.
Having originally promised an all new app-based game back in May, Illiger last week sparked much speculation of a Tiny Wings 2 release Tweeting the rather confusing message, “There will be no new game by me any time soon. But there will be something new from me...”
