The magazine held its presses to release the special and is increasing its print run. No fewer than 21 pages are dedicated to Jobs. Revelations include the fact he wanted Isaacson to write his biography so his children could get to know him better, so busy was he with work.
"I wanted my kids to know me," Isaacson quotes Jobs as saying. "I wasn't always there for them, and I wanted them to know why and to understand what I did."
Isaacson's biography, Steve Jobs: The Exclusive Biography, has also been brought forward a month, and will be released on 24th October.
