Mywaves.com allows users to register and subscribe to channels like CNN, VH1 and Comedy Central. You can also create a profile, posting your own mobile-created videos which the site will kindly shoot off to your 'fans' to view. You can also personalise what channels you want, so there's no need to wade through ropey repeats and tiresome gameshows.

The service is currently only available in the States, but if it takes off there, then you can be sure that you'll be logging on and getting hold of as many channels as you like.
