The limitless Xbox 360 hard disk

XSATA links your 360's paltry drive to your computer's - so it need never fill up!

Great as the Xbox 360 is, the capacity of its hard drive is verging on embarrassing. Although marked up as a 20GB, you only really get around 12GB of space to play around with - unless you add the XSATA.

Made by Datel, it's a plug 'n' play peripheral that sits betwixt your 360 and the hard drive. It links up to your PC via USB, which allows you to move content backwards and forwards using any Xbox-friendly file manager software. The crux is that anything you're not currently using on your 360 can be moved on to your computer's (undoubtedly larger) hard drive, freeing up space for other stuff. You can then email Xbox content to your mates, provided it isn't locked to your Live account.

It will be available soon, priced at around £30.
