This week in the world of tech: Sky Go for Android confirmed, LG unveils it's handsets getting Android Ice Cream Sandwich and iPad 3 is confirmed
It's been a busy old week in the world of tech with travesty, excitement and new products coming left right and center. First up this week is the news that the HTC Ville could well pop into existence soon as the thinnest HTC smartphone yet, currently just a rumour we'll have to wait for MWC 2012 to find out more.
Also in the world of smartphones it's been reported that an Apple iPhone 4S has spotaneously combusted onboard an airplane that was travelling to Sydney, it's not yet known why the handset caught on fire. Finally we've got LG's Ice Cream Sandwich update list featuring a full list of all of the phones that LG will officially be giving the Android 4.0 treatment.
In the world of the big tech companies Sky have confirmed that a Sky Go Android app is nearly ready for launch, with the app set to land in just a couple of months. An Apple employee has been fired for criticising Apple on Facebook, after an appeal the panel ruled that while harsh, the ruling was fair as Apple's image is crucial to its success.
Finally it's been reported that the iPad 3 and iPhone 5 release could well be sooner than we think with mention of both products having been found in the beta version of Apple's mobile operating system iOS 5.1.
