Capcom confirms Resident Evil 6
Gore-fest gaming franchise Resident Evil will be back for a sixth installment this November after Capcom officially announced the game's development is well underway. Capcom says the game is going to be the most impressive yet and picks up the plot ten years after the Racoon City incident. Check out the epic three minute trailer below

Anonymous goes on mass DDoS spree after Megaupload is taken down
The hacking collective known as Anonymous are back with a vengeance after taking down a host of websites. in wake of the news that Megaupload and Megavideo have been taken down by the US government, Anonymous has attacked the MPAA, the RIIA, Universal Music and a justice department website. The Megaupload take down comes just a day after the mass protests against the SOPA and PIPA legislation.

Google shares drop as earnings fall short of expectations
Shares in Google dropped ten per cent in after-hours training on Thursday after Google failed to meet Wall Street estimations for its Q4 earnings call. In better news for the search giant, it now has 90 million Google+ users. Now the company only has to worry about getting its members to use the service.

Windows Phone to overtake iOS by 2015, says analysts
While it's a reality that seems pretty distant in the current climate, research company IHS reckons that in three years time, Windows Phone will have overtaken Apple's iOS operating system in terms of market share. While Windows Phone currently has a 1.9 share of the market, by the time 2015 rolls around it'll edge ahead of Apple with 16.7 per cent of the pie. Android will be way ahead of both of them, says IHS.

Apple Store coming to Harrods
London's world famous Harrods department store will soon have its very own Apple Store, according to reports from 9to5 Mac. Apple is already planning to create more store-within-store locations in 2012, with US retailer Target set to benefit, but according to "sources at Harrods" the company is planning to take up resident amid the five star surroundings in Knightsbridge.
