Apple gets peak at Samsung's unreleased tech
The patent infringement legal battle between Apple and Samsung took a strange turn today when the judge presiding over the case demanded that Samsung hand over prototypes for five of its unreleased devices so he can determine whether the products copy Apple's trademarks

Google set to unveil digital wallet plans
A special event in New York tomorrow is likely to see Google lift the lid on its plans to turn Android phones into a digital payment device. Android owners will be able to swipe their handsets to pay for goods, redeem coupons and earn loyalty points thanks to the NFC tech embedded in Android 2.3 phones like the Google Nexus S

Apple hits half-a-million apps
The all-conquering Apple App Store now boasts 500,000 apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch according to new estimates released on Tuesday. If you bought them all, they would cost you $891,982,24. That's an average of $3.64 per app.

'Best ever' Yahoo Mail upgrade revealed
Yahoo has added Facebook and Twitter integration to its Mail client and promised that the service will be twice as fast as before thanks to a major new upgrade that will be rolled-out over the next few weeks. Yahoo has also added apps, and improved instant messaging into the mix and promises that Yahoo Mail will be seamless between all devices
