Employees are instructed never to push sales, but simply to understand customer needs and are banned from saying the word 'unfortunately'.

Starbucks payment app comes to Android
Coffee mega-chain Starbucks has launched an Android payment app to allow users to obtain from their Venti Caffé Americano with Soy Milk cuppa without the aid of cash or a credit card. Following in the footsteps of its iPhone counterpart, users can top up their accounts on the go and pay by scanning barcodes at Starbucks locations.

Chinese men jailed for stealing iPad 2 details
In a case, which could make others think twice about leaking images of Apple's forthcoming gadgets in future, three men have been jailed in China after being convicted of stealing secret images of the iPad 2. The images allowed a manufacturer to produce protective cases that accurately predicted the design of the iPad 2

Sony Honeycomb tablets coming September
Sony's long-awaited S1 and S2 Honeycomb tablets will be arriving in September, according to a private marketing note which has come to light. The uniquely-shaped devices will be available to pre-order in the UK in August and available to own in September. We're excited to see how that clamshell S2 works out.
