T3 reveals the most influential people in tech, with the Tech 100 list
Discover the crème de la crème of the tech world
Welcome to T3's second annual list of the technology world's most powerful men and women. The Who's Who of the tech world, it covers everyone from journalists and bloggers all the way up to CEOs and money men.
Our definitive list includes anyone who's been a game-changer in the realm of consumer electronics in the last 12 months. Although the T3 Tech 100 has a UK-centric slant, all the big international players are here too.
So how did we decide who made the list?
We got together with eight expert judges, each representing different areas of the tech industry to scour the consumer tech world for the people who bring the most influence to bear on the gadgets we all buy.
We looked at the company each person represented, their profits and how many times they'd appeared in the news this year. Each person's Twitter account was analysed and Google search results counted; whether they managed to create a whole new market for their product, or wrote such cutting prose that a manufacturer's wares ceased to sell.
There's a few surprises in the list, but if you think we've missed anyone out, or if you disagree with our panel of esteemed judges, don't be shy in letting us know.
