Keep those votes coming and win an iPad...

Which tech has blown you away this year? Vote now and you could win yourself an iPad...

The T3 Gadget Awards 2010 have got you well and truly fired up, and the number of you voting has doubled since last year.

We’re already more than halfway towards the 250,000 mark, only a month after launching the list of contenders for this year’s awards.

Following your votes, each of the 18 categories will be whittled down from a longlist of 10 to a shortlist of five. You then get another chance to vote, before the T3 judging panel add in their two pence to help finalise the results.

T3 editor Luke Peters explained: "2010 has seen a raft of game-changing gadgets launched. Not only are products like the iPad, smartphones and 3DTVs great stories, they are actually shaping the way consumers use technology today and how they will use it tomorrow.

"Gadgets have truly become a lifestyle choice and we’re seeing that appetite for technology reflected in the number of people now voting in the T3 Awards."

Of the 18 categories this year, Gadget of the Year is once again shaping up to be a feisty contest, after HTC pipped Apple to the prize last year.

The iPad features in the Innovation of the Year category, up against some pretty tricky opposition in the shape of Microsoft's Xbox Kinect and Sky's new 3D service.

The App of the Year category is a newbie, reflecting this year’s smartphone application boom which has seen Apple selling more than 4 billion apps and the growing Android Marketplace gaining ground.

The shortlist will be announced next month, with the awards ceremony taking place in London on October 11.
