Super cheap HDTV hits the web

Evesham's new 32-incher proves that Hi-Def needn't be Hi-Cost.

Evesham has unveiled its latest bargain telly - a high definition model that it claims is a "high end" product. It's certainly a step up from the company's previous 32-inch screen, as it now has an HDMI connection, super wide viewing angle and ultra-quick 8ms response time.

Other features are pretty standard (couple of Scart sockets, PC input etc.), but overall it looks like a very tempting package for the price tag - a cool £750 - especially as there's also a 3-year warranty. Of course it's hard to tell how good a telly is until you've lived with it for a while, but you'll be hard pressed to find a cheaper model that's as well-equipped as this. So if you're going to be blowing the bulk of your HDTV budget on Sky's service it might be worth a look.
