Steve Jobs film 'jOBS' set to land in April

Aston Kutcher's portrayal of the late entrepreneur could be arriving in just a few months after it was revealed that the Steve Jobs biopic would be having it's premiere at Sundance

The film chronicling Steve Jobs rise to success 'jOBS' has been given a release date of 19 April with the biopic of the Apple Co-Founder getting it's premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.

Featuring Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs and Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak the film with follow the entrepreneurs from their first personal computer the Apple 2 all the way to the launch of Apple's first iPod.

According to The Hollywood Reporter the film's release date has been set to coincide with Apple's 37th birthday, Open Road Films will release the film on behalf of Five Star Feature Films.

Five Star Films CEO Mark Hulme expressed his enthusiasm for the release saying, "We set out to find the perfect partners to present jOBS to audiences worldwide, and we feel we have found one with Open Road. They were as impressed as we were with Ashton Kutcher's inspiring and unforgettable performance as Steve Jobs and are excited to distribute the picture in the U.S."
