Eight million more songs to be up for grabs for Sonos users

Sonos and Spotify make sweet music together

Sonos has teamed up with streaming music marvels Spotify to give users access to the entire music back catalogue.

A free software update scheduled for later this month, will allow users of Sonos wireless multimedia devices access to get their hands on Spotify's huge music database.

The Sonos ZonePlayer S5, released last October can connect to home PCs and online music sites such as and Napster, as well as 100,000 free internet radio stations, and will now added Spotify to its list of music resources.

The S5 can be controlled via PC or Mac, the Sonos-brand Controller 200 (sold separately) and now through free iPhone and iPad apps, allowing wireless control of up to five independently-placed S5 devices.
