Sony already has the S and P Tablet but now it looks like the company will be getting on the Tegra 3 bandwagon with a leak suggesting a quad-core tablet
Images have been leaked of a Sony Xperia Tablet with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor on board. The images show a slimmer form-factor, what looks to be Ice Cream Sandwich on board and a new design for the tablet.
The leak has come from XDA Developers and shows not only images but also some apparent specs with the leak stating that the tablet will come with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera while a 1MP front-facing camera will be in place for video-calling.
A Tegra 3 quad-core processor will power this as yet unannounced tablet while the leak suggests that the Xperia Tablet will feature a new Magnesium Allow body rather than the plastic offering that can be found on the S Tablet.
It's not yet known just how thin this device will be but to keep up with the likes of the New iPad and the Microsoft Surface it's likely to be below 10mm.
The Xperia Tablet will apparently come in three sizes of 16,32 and 64GB while there's no news on whether there will be a 3G or 4G LTE version available as well.
