Supposed 'Sony Xperia Mint' images leak online

Gadget website claims to have gotten hands-on time with Sony's 'latest Xperia handset'

Is this the new Sony Xperia Mint? Gadget website posts review of what it claims is Sony's latest Xperia handset, supposedly running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich

This is Sony’s new premium-level handset, dubbed the Xperia Mint, according to a mobile phone reviews website, which posted a review and images of the kit.

Mobile-Review, which claims to have had hands-on time with the device, lists the phone’s operating system as Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but also claims it could be in line for a Jelly Bean update.

Screen size is reported as 4.3-inches (1280x720 pixels), while the snapper is alleged to have a 13-megapixel sensor.

The site also claims the Mint is equipped with Qualcomm’s S4 Snapdragon processor. It sports the same blocky shell as the rest of its Xperia siblings, and is roughly the same size as Samsung’s Galaxy S3, according to the images.

The device is yet to be officially announced by Sony, so a UK release date and price point is unknown.

T3 approached both Qualcomm and Sony’s press teams but they declined to comment.
