The Sony Xperia J handset has gone on sale today and offers an affordable alternative to the Xperia T handset featured in Skyfall
The Sony Xperia J is available on free on Three at the not-unreasonable asking price of £13 a month for a two-year contract. If you want a PAYG deal then you can pick up the handset for a marginal £150, plus a top up.
What do you get for your hard-earned cash? The Sony Xperia J features a 4-inch 854x480 screen, a 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and a 5MP rear-facing camera.
The Xperia J arrives toting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and, although there's only 4GB of storage, you can supplement that with a microSD card.
The outer casing features an almost identical curving design to the Xperia T flagship handset seen in the most recent Bond movie, Skyfall. At just over 9mm in thickness it should be slim enough for even the tightest pair of skinny jeans.
Keep it tuned to T3 for a full review of the Xperia J but in the meantime, check out our video preview on what we can expect from Sony's budget blower.
