Sony drops new nano baiter
A820 Walkman arrives hoping to wipe that smug grin off Apple's face.
Sony's turned its attentions back to a spot of nano bashing today, outing their all new video Walkman, the A820.
Coming in 8GB and 16GB flavours, its biggest draw is the monster battery life, offering 36 hours of tunage or a whacking ten hours of video.
That knocks Apple's dinky player right off its perch. Cupertino can only offer 24 hours of music and five hours of flicks.
On top of that, you get a neat 2.4-inch QVGA screen, Bluetooth connectivity for hooking up the supplied wireless headphones (a neat touch we think you'll agree), as well as wide ranging support for WMA, AAC and MP3, as well as MPEG4 video and JPEGs.
Sony's not saying anything about pricing, just that you'll be able to get your gadget loving paws on it from April.
With Apple chopping and changing products on what feels like a weekly basis, we reckon this one's a banker.

Tell you what, that's a hell of a cute little player. I love my Nano, but I may just dust off the Mastercard for this one!
