While CES did see the arrival of the Xperia S, the race is now on to uncover the rest of the newly rebranded selection of Sony smartphones that are on the way
A leaked roadmap showing the smartphones Sony plans to release seems to confirm the existance of two Ice Cream Sandwich devices that should be launching at Mobile World Congress 2012 the Sony Xperia LT22i Nypon and the Xperia ST25i Kumquat.
According to GSM Arena who were able to secure specs and also leaked images of the smartphones the Nypon will share many of the design features of the Xperia S with the phone touting a 4"qHD display along with a NovaThor U8500 dual-core processor.
It'll have a 8MP camera on the back and will shoot full-1080p HD and will allegedly come packed with NFC built-in and Ice Cream Sandwich under the hood.
The Kamquat will apparently be more of a budget model with a 3.5" Reality display and will come with the same dual-core processor but have a slightly lower resolution camera at 5MP.
Of course it's important to note that while these devices may well be all but confirmed, their appearance and specs could change drastically, and with news that Sony might be launching a Windows Phone 7 handset as well it'll be all eyes on MWC 2012 to see the final line-up.
