Hands-on gameplay video of the newly announced Sony PSP 2, or Next Generation Portable (NGP) as the Japanese company would have it known, has emerged with the full range of user controls demoed.
The video, courtesy of online gaming forum Gamespot, features a demonstration “trailer” of the announced PSP 2, sorry NGP, announcement title Uncharted with a rather handy walkthrough of the pocket-friendly console’s array of controller options.
Playing host to dual analog sticks, a 5-inch touchscreen, touch-sensitive back, SIXAXIS tilt-sensitive gyroscopic controls and of course the classic array of PlayStation buttons, the Sony NGP PSP 2 offers users a wide variety of ways in which to input their gaming commands.
Currently un-priced and pegged only with an end of 2011 release date, the NGP will feature a 5-inch OLED touchscreen display, quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, front and rear facing cameras and full Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity options when it finally lands with eager gamers. As well as the demoed Uncharted release the launch of the Sony NGP will see the arrival of a number of compatible titles including LittleBigPlanet, Killzone, Hot Shot Shots and the ever welcome Wipeout.
