Sony PS3 motion controller to feature force feedback
PS3's big hitter starts to take shape
Sony may have been overshadowed by Microsoft's Project Natal at E3 earlier this month, but now the dust has settled, and more details are seeing the light of of day, the motion control tech revealed for PlayStation 3 is starting to look mighty impressive.
Set for a Spring 2010 launch (which is more than we can say for Natal), the new PlayStation Eye-powered motion-based controller is likely to feature force feedback rumble, SCE told developers at a recent conference.

The Eye will also utilise the face and head tracking technology already built into the PS3's Software Development Kit and will be able to handle four controllers at one time. PlayStation Eye's built-in microphone will also allow voice control and voice recognition.
Like the Wiimote and Nunchuck, Sony also plans to combine their own motion controlled wand with stock PS3 controllers for a similar experience.
There's no concrete price or release date for PlayStation Eye just yet, but this might be the device that sees the PS3 hit the big time.
