Sony opens up registration for PS Suite SDK

Developers can sign up to build Vita and Android apps

So its started, the process has begun, developers will soon be able to get their hands on the SDK for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Certified

Sony opened up registration for the Sony PlayStation Suite which includes making games for both the PS Vita and for PlayStation Certified handsets like the Sony Tablet S and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.

It may not seem like that big of a deal what this means is that these developers will be able to create all the apps that will soon inhabit the upcoming handheld PS Vita. While this won't affect any of the actual titles heading to the PS Vita what it will allow is developers to create apps that make the PS Vita feel more than a handheld with mini-games, social-media apps and more all being on the list of things to expect.

Sadly for those lucky developers it's not hardware requirement so don't expect any leaked shots of a PS Vita coming any time soon, instead sit back and relax safe in the knowledge that someone will be trying to put Angry Birds onto the PS Vita.

Will you be getting a PS Vita when it comes out in February of next year? Let us know via the comments box below...
