Sleeping (and waking up) with the enemy

The MP3 player war might be over, but Sony can still pick up a few (profitable) crumbs of comfort with some tasty iPod add-ons, including the Sony ICF-CD3iP.

Bad name, great gadget, offering up a dock for your iPhone or iPod, AM/FM radio with 30 presets, a CD player (good for playing back CDRs full of MP3s apparently) and of course, an alarm clock. But not just an alarm clock - this one can co-exist with any iPhone alarms you have set.

The sound probably isn't the best in the world and the build doesn't exactly scream 'quality', but with a list price of around £45 currently slated, who cares?
