New Sony A99 images leaked

Sony's newest creation got a whole lot clearer as new images of the A99 full-frame camera leaked onto the internet

Canadian photography website Photoprice.ca got hold of the shots which show plenty of connections around the full-frame SLT (single lens translucent) camera.

The specs packed into Sony's new snapper are believed to include a 24.3MP full-frame CMOS Exmor sensor, and 1080p video capability.

The inclusion of an OLED panel means the A99 is lacking an optical viewfinder - no word yet on resolution though.

Sony is expected to release the full details on September 12. So, if you're not completely consumed with the rumoured iPhone 5 announcement, there'll be something else to look forward to.
