Sonos Wireless Dock unveiled

iPod and iPhone streaming add-on incoming

New Apple-friendly extra lets you stream tracks from your iPhone and iPod on your Sonos system.

Spotify streaming on Sonos has made us fall in love all over again with the ace multiroom music maven. And now there’s even more to get het up about, with the official unveiling of the new Sonos Wireless Dock WD100.

The idea is simple. Slap in your iPod or iPhone and it will stream tracks to different Sonos Zoneplayers around the home. They will convert the tunes to analogue, meaning sound quality is top notch.

The Sonos Wireless Dock works with a string of Apple’s jukeboxes, including every iPhone and iPod touch model, the iPod classic and the 3rd, 4th and 5th gen iPod nano. No click-wheel free nano here sadly.

The WD100 is due out next month, costing £99 on these shores. For more gadget and tech news, keep it locked to our Facebook and Twitter pages.
