The app will also give you access to your entire digital music library if it is stored on computers around the home and will give you the option of playing your music in any room around the house if you have more than one S5 Zone Player on the go. You can choose different volume levels for each room, or indeed different music depending on the mood.

The attractive UI continues in the same vein as the popular iPhone, iPod touch and iPad apps that have already proved a massive hit with Sonos system owners.

The Android app will be a free download from the Market in March and will make its debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
