Sky Sports F1 HD launching today
The Sky Sports F1 HD channel will be going live this evening marking the beginning of its round the clock coverage and the completely dedicated HD channel.

Set to 'reinvent interactive television' the new channel will feature a whole host of interactive features including Sky Race Control which will let you view multiple streams including in-car live footage.
Accompanying the channel will be the Sky Sports F1 section of the Sky Sports HD iPad app, giving you enhanced video streams, data and social media coverage and more.

Set to launch as channel 408 the new F1 dedicated Sky channel will be made available at no extra cost to those customers who subscribe to the Sky HD pack or combination of Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 channels.
“Formula 1 followers are hungry for more and we want to give them the ultimate experience,” said Barney Francis, Managing Director of Sky Sports announcing the new channel. “It’s not just every minute of every race but a channel devoted to Formula 1.
“We can now tell the whole story of the season, from every Grand Prix, from start to finish. Formula 1 will get the full Sky Sports treatment. We have big plans for live shows and a rich line-up of Formula 1 programmes; getting to the drivers, exploring the technology and lapping up the drama. “
