Sky+ on your mobile out soon

The ability to record your favourite shows from wherever you are-is a matter of weeks away.

T3 has discovered that Sky+ on your mobile will be available to the public in-around a month.

The concept of Sky+ on your mobile has been kicking around for a couple of years now, but only a couple of months ago we learned that the service was being tested with a view to a summer launch.

The service will allow you to set your Sky+ recorder by sending an SMS message (i.e. "Lost, Channel 4, 10pm"), and will later feature an on-screen EPG enabling you to browse TV listings and set recordings on your mobile's display.

Expect more news when we get it, but for now it looks like missing your favourite show due to unforeseen circumstances will soon become a thing of the past.
