Samsung's folding PC
Samsung's taken the concept of an Origami PC literally - check out its fiendishly clever folding portable!
We thought Kohjinsha's swivel screen was swish, but this colapsable palmtop's just taken its crown as the swishest portable going.
Palm sized, but running a full version of Windows XP, Samsung's SPH-P9000 also packs in WiMax for ultra-quick Wi-Fi over massive distances.
Billing itself as "the latest in mobile convergence," the handheld could even replace your mobile, routing calls through the internet to save you a packet, and provide a full mobile office in one pocket-sized bundle.
WiMAX and CDMA EV-DO technology means the handheld can surf the web at the same time as making calls, while a full fold-out QWERTY keyboard means painless typing and easy e-mail access.
Not enough for you? The P9000's got a dedicated MP3 player too, as well as access to video on demand services and a 1.3-megapixel camera.
All this and a 30-gig hard disk, five inch WVGA screen and a total weight of a little over one pound.
Now for the bad news. The SPH-P9000's slated for launch in Korea in the first half of 2007, and we've yet to hear of a worldwide release date.
Still, new products are making their way to Britain from the far east quicker than ever, so maybe, just maybe, Samsung could surprise us.
