The picture was picked up by tech site The Verge and shows a 4.8-inch handset that, according to "sources familiar with the company's plans", will be named the Samsung ATIV S.
Some of the specifications expected in the handset include a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear facing camera and a 1.9MP camera on the front. The 4.8-inch Super AMOLED Display will be ideal for navigating the tiled Windows Phone 8 OS.
Samsung could be gearing up to officially reveal this handset later today at its Mobile Unpacked 2012 announcement. The Korean company is already under heavy scrutiny thanks to anticipation of a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release.
