Samsung's new notebook is the man

Move over MacBook- there's a new sheriff in town and his name is Samsung R700.

There's a new sprog in Samsung's Aura family. He's got a glossy black finish, a bucket-load of features and a whopping 17in widescreen notebook. He goes by the name of R700.

With a great graphics card and an HDMI port, the shiny beast is great for gaming and movies - the only thing you'll really use it for - and also features an integrated 1.3meg digital motion camera so you can video conference with the New York office (or just talk nonsense to the guys sitting opposite you) with ease.

It can even be connected to high-res telly sets, home theatre systems or projectors and with, count 'em, four USB ports you can connect a whole bunch of extra goodies.

Plus the battery lasts nearly three hours, so you can be sure of a decent few games of solitaire during the morning commute.

Add up to 4GB of RAM and a cheeky bit of Vista Premium and you're looking at a winner.
