Samsung Q Series laptops release date set for late July

Well-specced and slim, yet reasonably priced winner

Could this be the best all-round laptop deal so far this year?

Samsung’s lifted the lid on its new range of do-it-all laptops, and announced that they’ll land in the UK towards the end of the month. The Q Series takes the shape of three well-endowed models – the Q330, 3430 and Q530 – with 13.3, 14 and 15.6-inch screens respectively.

What’s so good, then? For a start, there’s Intel’s winning Core i3 and i5 processors, HDMI ports, card readers and hard drives up to 640GB. Graphics chipsets are either Nvidia GeForce 310M or 330M with an HD screen resolution of 1366x768.

To top it all off, there’s the ability to stream your media across any DLNA-certified Samsung device (TV, laptop or phone) thanks to the company’s Allshare tech.

All three Samsung Q series laptops will hit stores before the end of July, with the hugely reasonable entry price of £599. Stay tuned for a review.
