Samsung primes 3D prescription glasses
Samsung has announced it’s making prescription 3D glasses, meaning visually hampered telly lovers can at last play nice with 2010’s biggest tech phenomenon.
The idea is pretty simple. Rather than shoving a pair of standard 3D glasses over your regular specs, Samsung will make you a pair from scratch, meaning you can watch Avatar and marvel at the effects rather than the tiresome storyline.
Sammy reckons it’ll take them a week to make a specific pair of 3D specs, but hasn’t come clean about price. With standard Samsung efforts costing around £55 though, don’t expect them to be cheap.
Enough to make you finally make the jump to 3D? Or just a gimmick? Let us know what you think on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
