Can it topple the big boys of the camcorder world?

Samsung has announced its newest camcorder, the HMX-T10. The slim white cam shoots in full HD and sports a lens titled up 20 degrees, which Samsung claims will ease the strain of having to hold the camera up for extended periods… even if it does end up producing chin-heavy upshots of everyone.

As well as 1080p recording, the T10 will take 4.7 still images. It’s inbuilt with face recognition and image stabilisation features, plus an advanced Back Side Illuminated CMOS sensor – with twice the sensitivity of its peers to keep distortion and blurriness to a minimum. The whole thing is controlled by a tasty 2.7-inch touchscreen.
