Despite Samsung coming under fire from Apple earlier this year it's now clear that that hasn't stopped the Galaxy S from becoming a huge global success and now they have the official figures to show that
Samsung have unveiled official figures which show that the company has sold 30 million of their Galaxy S smartphones, including both the original and Samsung Galaxy S2 which has recently been crowned Phone of the Year at the T3 Gadget Awards 2011.
It's a clear indication that the company has shrugged off any setbacks which might have appeared earlier this year when Samsung had its Galaxy S2 along with several other products banned in Europe by Apple. With this in mind it's all the more impressive that the company has managed to sell 20 million of the Galaxy S and 10 million of the Galaxy S2.
Samsung Galaxy S2 Features:
Boasting a 4.3inch AMOLED screen the Galaxy S2 has been classed by many as not only being a competitor to the iPhone 4 but also the handset that finally removed Apple's smartphone from having the top spot.
With a dual-core processor and 1GB RAM it's one of the fastest phones available and at just 8.49mm thin it's one of the lightest and thinnest smartphones in the hand. As if that wasn't enough it has a 8MP snapper and the latest version of Android skinned with Samsung's excellent TouchWiz UI.
