Samsung Galaxy tablet video leaks

7-inch tablet caught on video, can be used as a phone. Yes, a ruddy big phone.

Samsung Galaxy Tab in action

Yesterday, we revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be running on Google's Android 2.2 OS Fro-Yo. Quick as a flash, a video’s popped up on Youtube claiming to show the Tab in the flesh for the first time.

Due for release later this year, the Samsung Galaxy Tab in the video looks like it's running Google's Android, which’ll be gazed at through a crystal clear 7” Super-AMOLED display. Phone calling functionality seems certain thanks to this clip, and rumour has it that it’ll be powered by a 1.2Ghz A8 processor, making Samsung’s Android tablet faster than Apple’s iPad.

Looking ideal for classic Dom Joly-esque moments of shouty tomfoolery, it’s tricky to tell what else the Tab’ll be any good for at this stage from the video alone, but we’re definitely excited.

Will this speedy Samsung be the tab to stop the iPad’s supremacy? Be sure to check out the vid below and let us know what you think.
