Second-gen Galaxy Tab primed for MWC unveiling?
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 release set for MWC 2011?
Having unveiled four new smartphone additions to the Galaxy brand earlier today, Samsung looks to have a few surprises left in its bag ahead of Mobile World Congress 2011 as a mysterious device touting conference invite is outed.
Dubbed in a very shoutey and excited manned “SAMSUNG MOBILE UNPACKED 2011”, Samsung’s MWC opening conference will take place in Barcelona the night before the show officially opens on Monday February 14th with the company proclaiming: “Something big is coming to Barcelona. Something that reveals our vision for 2011.”

Teasing a mysterious glowing device, the Samsung invite continues to add: “Everyday millions of people share their thoughts, stories and ideas. Changing needs of consumers continue to shape the development of devices. At SAMSUNG MOBILE UNPACKED 2011, this evolution will continue, as we showcase our latest range of smart devices.”
With four new smartphone devices already announced ahead of MWC, rumours are running rife of the company making a 10-inch Galaxy Tab 2 shaped surprise unveiling during its press conference.
With Sammy’s wording of “smart devices” suggesting it could be plotting more than a handset launch, leaked Galaxy Tab 2 specs and persistent rumours of the mooted device could soon see the second-gen Android tablet enter the realms of reality.
