PR leak reveals Samsung's MWC 2011 plans
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 launch date confirmed for MWC 2011
A leaked conference schedule has revealed that Samsung is to officially unveil follow-ups to both the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Samsung Galaxy S at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.
Breaking down the times of Samsung’s MWC opening from the one hour pre show cocktail reception to the unusually time one hour and four minute press conference, the leaks claims that Sammy will spend the final 34 minutes on product presentations with the “Galaxy S 2” and “Galaxy Tab 2” on line for revealing. The unveiling is set to kick off at 6pm GMT on Sunday February 13th.
Heavily tipped for an MWC arrival, rumours have surrounded the imminent unveiling of the second-generation iPad botherer in recent weeks with many industry insiders claiming the mooted device is to launch with a 10-inch screen size running Google’s upcoming Android 3.0, Honeycomb mobile OS.
Earlier this month Samsung teased that it would be unveiling a dual-core processor bragging smartphone at MWC 2011 with the leaked arrival of the Galaxy S 2, follow-up to the hugely popular 10 million unit plus selling Android handset released last year, now appearing to take top priority for such acclaim.
