Carphone Warehouse has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available to buy from August 22, the Inquirer reports.
However, Samsung’s next-gen Galaxy Tab will be available to pre-order from the high street retailer’s website a week prior to the device’s official release date.
Slate lovers must fork out £299.99 for the16GB Wi-Fi-only model, while the 3G and Wi-Fi version will retail at £399 – a startling difference – and will be available in both black and silver.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is the follow-up to the South Korean firm’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 and comes equipped with a 10.1-inch 1290x800 touchscreen display, a powerful dual-core processor, but a disappointing 3-megapixel rear-facing snapper.
