Vodafone tweeter announces exclusive deal with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 release date set for March.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 release date: Set for Vodafone in March
With the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 UK release date set for sometime in March, Samsung have also verified that the first lucky few to get their mitts on the new 10.1 inch Android tablet will be Vodafone customers.
Like it's predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, the Tab 10.1 will feature a SIM card slot for texting and calling, which for the near future at least will be home only to Vodafone SIMs.
The announcement comes via Vodafone's official Twitter feed, where the resident tweeter posted: "Great news! Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will launch exclusively with Vodafone UK" and went on to promise, "More news soon!"
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, aka the Galaxy Tab 2, takes its proper name after it's 10.1-inch screen, is a full 3.1 inches larger than its predecessor and runs the tablet-centric Android 3.0 Honeycomb and runs a dual-core 1GHz processor.
